Behavioural
Management is proud of our ability to attract and retain
highly-qualified, and committed, clinical and management
staff.
Behavioural
Management provides both full-time clinical staff and
clinical affiliates. Full-time staff routinely travel
throughout the State.
At a minimum, all
Behavioural Management's clinicians hold a Masters degree in
a clinical specialty. We also have experiential and
continuing education staff requirements, and provide or
sponsor in-service training in strategic short-term therapy
areas.
Although our
clinical staff have varied professional experience and
educational backgrounds, certain qualities are consistent
throughout the Behavioural Management's clinical system:
-Professional
clinical experience in dealing with a broad range of personal problems.
-Experience and
skill with a variety of treatment modalities,
including structured, short-term counseling.
-Substantial
training and/or experience in the field of substance
abuse, leading to a clinical understanding of the
family systems concept of chemical dependency and
co-dependency.
-Ability to
develop therapeutic relationships quickly, and to
pro-actively engage clients in the problem-resolution
process.
-A
results-oriented approach to counseling, including
the ability to utilize a therapeutic contract.
-Commitment to
the specialized field of Shot-Term therapeutic
assistance, and to the provision of human services in
the workplace.
